About Me

I love my work.  Using my technical skills to help individuals improve their lives is greatly rewarding. I have provided assistive technology and ergonomic services throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota for over 25 years. I have also given many presentations and training workshops throughout the country on these topics.  I have a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio University, emphasizing Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics.

I am a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), a certified Rehabilitation Engineering Technologist (RET) and a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).   I am active in the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA), having served as a Board of Directors member, Treasurer, Chair of the Job Accommodations Special Interest Group and Vice-Chair of the Professional Standards Board. In 2011, I was awarded the RESNA Fellow, the highest honor by RESNA, for my "many accomplishments in the fields of Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology and the history of contributions to RESNA".   I am married to Lynn, and together we have five children.  We live in Menomonie, Wisconsin.  In my free time, I love to play tennis, bike, run, travel and spend time with my family.
